PM ~ Flussbad to Open New Exhibition Platform @ ESMT: 10 June 2017
Ceremonial Opening of the New Flussbad Berlin Platform on 10 June 2017, 11 a.m. in the ESMT Courtyard with Senator Katrin Lompscher
You are cordially invited to join us on Saturday 10 June 2017 at 11 am for the official opening of our Information and Exhibition Platform in the courtyard of the ESMT Berlin (http://bit.ly/2qS0RG4).
We are pleased to announce that Katrin Lompscher, Berlin’s Senator for Urban Development, will give the official opening speech, followed by Georg Garlichs, Managing Director of the European School for Management and Technology (ESMT). The ESMT has generously made available roughly 900 square metres of its own courtyard area – free of charge and until the end of 2018 – for our new exhibition platform.
In addition to the open-air exhibition showcasing the Flussbad Project, visitors will soon be able to view our “test filter” installed in an historical barge known as the “Hans-Wilhelm”. This research station is a true-to-scale model of the filter we intend to install in the Spree. We’re already looking forward to it!
If you would like to find out more about the Flussbad Berlin urban development project and the Flussbad Association, or if you’re interested in the national and state funding provided to the Flussbad as part of the “National Urban Development Projects”, please visit our website at http://www.flussbad-berlin.de
We would be delighted to welcome you at the opening, which is scheduled to last from 11 am to 2 pm. Please let me know if you are planning to attend!
Best wishes and hope to see you soon,
Barbara
