Grand Opening of public terrace and exhibition in Flussbad Garden
A little celebration marked the grand opening of our Flussbad Garden terrace and project exhibition for the public.
After four month of planning and building, on Satturday, June 10th we could finally open our new and public project exhibition, which can be found on the terrace in the so called Flussbad Garden. Situated right along the Spreekanal in the heart of the project site, the 900 sqm sized public space has been made available to us and the public by the European School of Management and Technology (ESMT). Speeches of Charlotte Hopf (Flussbad Berlin) Georf Garlichs (ESMT) and Katrin Lompscher (Senate Berlin) marked the opening as a grand gesture for the project goals.
The terrace has been build in the shape of one of the last Berlin Riverbaths, which has been opened here at Mühlengraben until hygiene grievances forced to to close down in 1925.
The exhibition focuses on the current status of the project Flussbad Berlin and will be open 24/7. During the summer month our friendly staff will give you additional informations and also some cold and hot beverages.
In the next couple of weeks the Flussbad garden will be the venue of several events. So stay tuned…
